The Avaya Definity 6408D+ phone offers the Call Forwarding feature. This feature allows you to temporarily forward your calls to another extension or an outside number. This can be helpful when you go on vacation, or find yourself working on the field. To learn how to use Call Forwarding on your Avaya Definity phone, follow along as we guide you through the steps.

To begin, press the MENU button, then press the Call Forward softkey (marked CFrwd) while the phone is either on-hook or off-hook.

Next, dial the extension number or the outside phone number which you would like your calls to be forwarded. Wait for a confirmation tone, and then you may hang up.

To cancel Call Forwarding, press the MENU button then press the Call Forward (CFrwd) softkey while the phone is either on-hook or off-hook.
