How To Use Call Timers On The Avaya Definity 6408D+ Phone
The Call Timer and Timer features on the Avaya Definity 6408D+ phone differ slightly, but both enable you to keep track of the elapsed time on a call. To learn how to use these features, follow these steps.
Once activated, the Call Timer will automatically measure the elapsed time on calls. You must turn off the feature if you do not wish to measure call times. This feature can only be used if your telephone is connected to a DEFINITY ECS Release 6.3 or later. Please check with your System Administrator to see if you may use this feature.
To activate the Call Timer, press the MENU button and then press the Call Timer (C Time) softkey or the Call Timer button (if administered). You may repeat these steps to turn off the Call Timer.
The Timer feature must be turned on for each individual call you wish to time. At the end of the call, you must immediately turn off the feature. This feature can be used with any DEFINITY switch release. Please check with your System Administrator to see if you may use this feature.
To use the Timer feature, press the MENU button and then press the Timer softkey (which will exit you from softkey mode) or press the Timer button (if administered). To stop the Timer and clear the display, repeat these steps.
